When Terry Woods handed me the obituary that ran in the Indy Star my breath was actually taken away from me when I heard of Dick's passing. I am grateful to have had the honor of working with him twice. Once in B & B's Christmas Show in 1995 and then in Forever Plaid at B&B in 1996. He was not only an amazingly talented pianist /musician / music director, he was also a giving, kind and passionate human being. When my wife Judy Fitzgerald and I married here in Indianapolis back 10 years ago last month on September 6, 1997, Dick offered to play cocktail music for us before our rehearsal dinner at, what was at the time, the Radisson Hotel at Keystone at the Crossing. He added such class to our special evening and will truly be missed. I know that those of us who knew him well will always keep him alive in our hearts, our thoughts, and our fond memories. Love to Sean and all of his vastly extended family. May God bless you Dick.
